What should the life of someone who has been born again by the Word of God look like? In this sermon from 1 Peter 2 Vs 1-3, we see a clear call to develop a healthy spiritual appetite. Peter shows that growth in the Christian life requires both removal and nourishment. Believers are called to lay aside sins that poison fellowship and choke spiritual desire, and to crave the pure Word of God like newborn babies crave milk. When we taste the grace of the Lord, our natural response should be to long for the very Word that brings us near to Him. As we put away sin and treasure Scripture, God uses His Word to produce real spiritual growth in our lives.
