“Saved Through Difficulty” | 1 Peter 4 Vs 17-19
In this sermon, we look at Peter’s encouragement to believers who are suffering because of their faith. Peter reminds us that suffering does not mean God has abandoned us. Instead, God often uses hardship to refine His people, strengthen their faith, and teach them to trust Him more deeply. Through the images of the furnace, the road, and the bank, we see that God is purifying His children, leading them safely through a difficult journey, and calling them to commit their souls to Him while continuing to do good. The Christian road may be hard, but the destination is secure because our lives are held by a faithful Creator.
