“What Do You Get for All Your Work?” | Ecclesiastes 2 Vs 12-26

Wisdom is good. Work matters. But neither can defeat death or give us lasting control. Ecclesiastes reminds us to receive today’s good as a gift from God, hold it with an open hand, and trust the Giver. Through Christ’s resurrection, our hope rests not in what we can hold onto, but in the One who holds us.

From Series: "Under the Sun (Ecclesiastes)"

What is the meaning of life in a world where everything seems temporary? In this 13-part journey through Ecclesiastes, we confront the restlessness, repetition, injustice, pleasure, work, wisdom, sorrow, aging, and death that define life “under the sun.” With unflinching honesty, the Preacher exposes the emptiness of trying to find lasting satisfaction in anything this world can offer. Yet Ecclesiastes is not a message of despair. It teaches us to receive life as a gift from God, to live wisely and boldly in an uncertain world, and to remember our Creator while we still have breath. Join us as we explore one of the Bible’s strangest and most beautiful books—and discover how its ancient wisdom speaks directly to the questions we are still asking today.
