“Jesus Stops, Jesus Calls, Jesus Listens, Jesus Saves” | Mark 10 Vs 46-52

In this message, we continue our series on people who encountered Jesus and were never the same again. Bartimaeus could not physically see Jesus, yet he recognized Him as the promised Son of David while those around him only saw "Jesus of Nazareth." His story reminds us that faith sees who Jesus is, believes what He can do, and responds accordingly. As Jesus makes His final journey toward Jerusalem and the cross, He stops for one blind beggar crying out for mercy. We see a Saviour who is never too busy to notice the overlooked, who calls sinners to Himself, who listens with compassion, and who saves all who come to Him in faith. Bartimaeus came to Jesus blind and left seeing, but more importantly, he left following Christ. The same Jesus who stopped for Bartimaeus still receives all who call on His name today.
