It Is A Fearful Thing To Fall Into The Hands of The Living God | Hebrews 10:26-31
In Hebrews 10:26-31 we receive the fourth and possibly most severe of the five warning passages found in this letter. It clearly speaks of God’s terrifying future judgement on those who willfully sin (deliberately and continually) once they have received the knowledge of the truth. Charles Spurgeon said, “Think lightly of hell and you will think lightly of the cross.” Let's carefully take to heart this important passage of scripture.

The letter to the Hebrews was written to encourage Jewish believers that their faith in Christ was not misplaced. That Jesus was in fact the reality of which all the old covenant ceremonies and sacrifices were but shadows. Although this letter was written to Jewish Christians, we can all profit from the warnings, encouragements and instructions of this great letter.
